Yummy Chocolate Cake

Take 400g each of dark chocolate (minimum 70% cocoa solids), sugar and butter, and 300g of plain flour and 8 eggs.

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Melt the chocolate with the butter, add the sugar then the egg yolks and mix well. Mix in the flour.

Beat the egg whites until they form soft peaks and fold into the rest of the mixture.

Pour into a greased and floured cake tin and bake for approx 35 minutes. For a change, you can add 50g of crushed walnuts, praline or some grated orange peel.
