Ice Plant Sedum - Spectabile

If you have an ice plant which has been in the garden, or in a tub, for a few years, you may find that every so often it flops because the stems can no longer support themselves. If this happens, the following spring you should dig it up and separate it and replant about six plants in the same spot or in the tub - but make sure you add some compost to the ground or replace all the compost if using a tub. The following autumn you will be rewarded with a plant of the same size but one that doesn’t flop.
