Fuel Heating : Winter Warmer For those of you who are feeling the autumn cold and are dreading the thought of having to fill up the fuel tank and pay the increased price for your household fuel, I have a little news to warm you up.
The French Economy, Industry and Work minister has confirmed in the press, the 8th September 2008, that for this winter there will be a heating financial aid for the sum of 200 euros for the winter 2008 to 2009.
This exceptional aid is reserved for households that are not liable for tax on their income and have received a bill for household fuel between the 1st July 2008 and the 31st March 2009 (of course one aid per household is accorded for this period). In order to be able to benefit from this, you will need to send the following before the 30th April 2009 to your local treasury:
• The formula - FORMULAIRE DE DEMANDE DE L’AIDE A LA CUVE DE 200 EUROS • Your last French tax return (i.e. 2007 income) – saying O tax to pay – avis de non imposition • A copy of the bill proving the purchase or delivery of household fuel for a minimum sum of 200€ established within the period of the 1st July 2008 and the 31st March 2009 • A ‘R.I.B.’ as all aid will be send directly to your bank account
If you live in shared property, you will need to provide a ‘certificat de bailleur’ or ‘gestionnaire’ for the building to confirm the type of heating used is household fuel.
It is certainly worth asking for, as every little helps. |
