!! NEW ROUTE !!
Limoges - Brussels (Charleroi) Mondays & Fridays Starting March 7th 2008

New and after a long wait : a restaurant inside Limoges airport terminal…!!

Welcome to Les Helicés a comfortable and convenient restaurant which opened it’s doors on 1st March. Open 7 days a week and serving delicious food all day. Nicely positioned on the first floor accessible from the main terminal, with views to the runway and to the terminal hall. Equipped with arrivals
and departures screen, - absolutely essential - & wide screen TV. In the morning, 2 different breakfast menus are proposed: a continental breakfast or an Anglo-Saxon breakfast.

For lunch and dinner, customers will be offered the choice between snacks(salads, eggs, club-sandwiches…) or a semi-gastronomic menu including starters, main courses and desserts, mixing French tradition and specialties from the Limousin region. In the afternoon, the restaurant will serve tea, coffee or hot chocolate drinks. Now you can check in and eat before boarding the aircraft - something we are used to in the UK - and those waiting for that flight which is never late they claim, can enjoy a meal whilst waiting for its arrival.

To supplement its activity, the restaurant will also propose tailor-made meals for groups and companies who use the airport’s spacious and modern meeting rooms.

Important annoucements

Car Parking

At present car parking at Limoges Airport is free but the increase in passenger traffic over the recent years has led to difficulty in

locating parking spaces. To alleviate the problem, and facilitate better access and comfort for passengers, the Limoges-Bellgarde Mixed

Syndicate has decided to start work to improve the parking facilities. A new system of pay parking is being introduced.

The new pay car parks

The central car park will keep its 315 car spaces and will be a dedicated passenger car park

The side park will share its 250 spaces between airport users and car rental companies

A third 40 spaces car park, near to the terminal will be solely for the use of car rental companies.

A pick up and drop off zone will continue to be available in front of the terminal, but a time limit will apply

New EU Security Rules at Airports

The European Union (EU) has adopted new security rules that restrict the amount of liquids that you can take through security checkpoints. This applies to all passengers departing

from airports in the EU whatever their destination. Hand luggage must be checked for liquids in addition to other prohibited articles., however, you can buy liquids at shops located airside,

or on board an aircraft operated by an EU airline. The new rules applied from 6 November 2006 at all airports in the EU, Norway, Iceland and Switzerland.

WHAT IS NEW ?

You are only allowed to take

re-sealable plastic bag of

your jacket and/or coat. • remove laptop computers and other large electrical devices from your hand luggage. They will be screened separately whilst you are screened;

small quantities of liquids in your hand luggage and it must be in individual containers with a maximum capacity of 100 millilitres each, in one transparent, not more than one litre capacity per passenger, available at the airport. To help screeners detect liquids, you must : • present all liquids carried • take off

WHAT DOES NOT CHANGE ?

You can still

- pack liquids in bags that you check in and carry in your hand luggage medicines and dietary requirements, including baby foods, for use during the trip. You may need to prove they are

safe & needed.

•- buy liquids such as drinks and perfumes either in an EU airport shop when located airside or on board an aircraft operated by an EU airline. If they are sold in a special sealed bag,

not open it

airport of transfer, or at the last one if you transfer more than once). All these liquids are additional to the quantities in

dobefore you are screened -- otherwise the contents may be confiscated at the checkpoint. (If you transfer at an EU airport, do not open the bag before screening at your airport of transfer, or at the last one if you transfer more than once). All these liquids are additional to the quantities in the re-sealable plastic bag mentioned above.

Marketing Opportunities. With over 400,000 passengers using the Aeroport International de Limoges annually, the terminal building provides and unmatchable platform for display of promotional & marketing materials.
